Plug

Terms of use

Last updated 28 October 2026

These are the terms for using the Plug app and the Plug email address that comes with it. Plug is a trade name of De Zoete Holding B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 66984149. By using Plug you agree to these terms. Plug is in beta: it is being tested with a small group and changes often.

What Plug is

Plug gives you an email address to use at shops and shows what the shops' emails say: orders, parcels, invoices, discount codes and returns. Plug is a reader and an organiser. It is not a shop, not a carrier and not a payment service. Your contract for a purchase is with the shop, and delivery is the carrier's.

Your Plug address

What Plug does for you, and what it doesn't

Your account

Keep access to the email address you sign in with: that is how you get into Plug. You can stop using Plug at any time and ask for your account to be deleted at support@getplug.app.

Liability

Plug is provided as it is, during a beta, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, Plug is not liable for loss that comes from relying on what Plug read from an email, from a shop's or carrier's actions, or from Plug being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Changes

Plug may change these terms and the app. When something important changes you will see it in the app or get an email. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
